SAND CEREMONIES
The Sand Ceremony is known all over the world for its beauty and sanctity. Couples add this ceremony to their weddings as an alternative to the unity candle ceremony because it so elegantly captures the meaning of their two lives becoming one. And it creates a lasting keepsake of that special day.
The Sand Ceremony can also include children and other members of your new blended family, each adding their own coloured sand, layer by layer.
SANDKITS AND COLOURED SAND NOW AVAILABLE
I can provide Sand kits if you choose a Sand Ceremony. There are two sized kits, both come in a quality white carrybag - the smaller kit includes small corked glass heart shape bottle, plus 2 x 90 gram containers of coloured sand (you choose the colours), a piece of heavy card to be used as a funnel, and the words for the sand ceremony. The cost of the small kit is $9.50. The larger kit includes a larger corked heart shaped bottle, plus 4 containers of sand. This larger bottle is suitable if there are children in the family - you would use one colour for each child. We have 8 colours available. The cost of the larger kit is $12.00.
I can also provide individual packs of coloured sand at the following cost:
- 100 gram bag of sand $1.00
- 200 gram bag of sand $2.00
- 500 gram bag of sand $5.00
